According to The Independent News Agency, scientists recently found a new potentially habitable planet by the European Southern Observatory’s ‘Very Large Telescope’. It is originally discovered as an exoplanet approximately 5.96 light years away from our Earth. They named it Barnard’s-B. It is orbiting its host star, “Barnard’s.”
Scientists have closely studied and observed with telescopes that the planet Barnard’s-B may have water, an atmosphere, and other elements that could support an alien life. According to them, there may be three more planets in this solar system. However, space scientists are studying whether this planet is in the habitable or green zone of the star.
The planet, which is 3.2 times the size of Earth, takes only 3.15 Earth days to orbit its own star and has a surface temperature of about 125 degrees Celsius. But while Barnard’s Star is about 2,500 degrees cooler than the Sun, the planet is so close to its host star (one-twentieth the distance from the Sun to Mercury) that its surface may be too hot or unsuitable for holding liquid or water.
Moreover, scientists have called it a new world of the future, as they found the existence of water to some extent here. Some of the newly discovered planets are considered suitable fields or places for human colonies in the future. However, no matter how excited scientists are about this newly discovered planet, establishing a human colony outside the solar system may not be possible for now.
Considering the development of space science and technology, it is far from exploring another solar system with four astronauts in a spacecraft; it is not possible to design a high-tech spacecraft like traveling safely to the moon and neighboring Mars and staying there for a few days. However, NASA and SpaceX are very optimistic about conducting space missions with astronauts to Mars by 2040.
Here it is revealed that our beautiful and habitable Earth has been deliberately destroyed by mankind, and now mankind is spending billions of dollars to find habitable planets outside the solar system. In the past three decades, about a thousand exoplanets or super-Earth rocky planets have been discovered outside our solar system, but in reality, there will be no benefit to mankind because they can do nothing but watch them from a distance.
All these exoplanets are located so far from Earth that it is possible to go there only in a fantasy world or in a Hollywood sci-fi movie. Meanwhile, the powerful and technologically rich countries of the world have begun to raise their hands towards the moon anew after indiscriminately destroying the fuel, mineral resources, and hundreds of natural forests and marine plants or animal ecosystems, such as the Amazon Rainforest, the world’s lungs.
Scientists believe that there are millions of tons of high-quality helium-3 fuel in the chest of the moon. If it can be used, it will be possible to meet the energy demand of the world for the next century. Countries like the United States and China have already started a competition to take possession of it, the signs of which are now beginning to be revealed in front of the world. ##Sources: Space, New Scientist, BBC Sky at Night, Wikipedia.
